I was born in England and grew up in North Yorkshire, I went on to art college in Scarborough to study graphic design. Mainly I was focused on illustration and drawing at this time before going on to study graphic design at the University of Lincoln. After finishing my degree I went on to travel around Thailand and bordering countries, this opened my eyes to the wonderful beauty of this part of the world, giving me a stronger passion for photography. I began working with subjects intensively to obtain better photographs.

Having studied photography throughout my graphic design education, I have worked with color and black and white film. Now, working with a high powered digital Canon camera, I use my graphic design knowledge to transform the pictures into works of art. Thailand’s natural beauty and tropical environment is an ideal place for photography. The masses of color and continuous sun give ideal lighting and photographic conditions. Over the years I have built a massive collection of photos covering many categories of life, nature and the environment. I currently work at Rangsit University in Bangkok as a graphic design teacher passing on my knowledge to eager teenagers.
